Life Update: Nursery (Photos)
I am thrilled to announce our son has finally arrived! Macky and I are so in love with our little man, Caleb. After a couple months of practically no baking (*gasp*), I was able to sneak in some kitchen time and try out a new cookie recipe. Be on the lookout for new recipes in the coming weeks. Meanwhile, I am excited to share pictures of one of my major non-food projects, the nursery! I had a lot of fun channeling my creativity into this special room and I hope my fellow food blog lovers will enjoy seeing the results.
I knew I wanted to create a nursery that was largely neutral, peaceful and inviting. I fell in love with a grey bow tie print wallpaper for an accent wall and chose a pale yellow paint color to add some color and brightness to the room. I carried the bow tie theme throughout the rest of the room design. My husband is known for his love of bow ties and I adore bows (have you noticed my logo?) so the bow tie choice is both meaningful and fun.
